May I report the service of Deena was superb, professional and the best we have received from Cebu to Moalboal, to Oslob and beyond! She is a credit to your business and the effort you have obviously invested in training her and the other waitresses. We returned for breakfast this morning and were well cared for by Gerylynn (not sure of the name, sorry). Our party consisted of my Filipina wife, our two daughters (6 and 2), my mother and father and me. My mother is German and was the chef at Una’s in Sydney for over 20 years; my father is English and has been in the hospitality business for many years too. I have worked from the kitchen sink to the bar to the table and was in the liquor industry in Australia for many years. So we know good and bad and we know why it can be one or the other! BBB was excellent and is how it should be everywhere, but rarely is here in the Philippines. By way of comparison, last Friday night we were invited to Plantation Bay by a friend who spent nearly P10, 000 on a mediocre meal with barely better than mediocre service. Compared to our experience at BBB, I know where I will be pointing my 1700 Yahoo Group members. I have two Yahoo Groups, one of 734 members who read my monthly newsletter “Philippine Dreams” and another of 953 members, all who live here or plan to etc. BBB will feature in next month’s issue as my restaurant of the month. Feel free to join the Philippine Dreams Yahoo Group to read the newsletter and of course you may reprint the article for your own promotion, should you choose. (It will be in the May issue) I will also add the link to your URL to the comprehensive list in my eBook, “StreetWise Cebu-The Expat’s Guide” and in the upcoming 2005 revision of “StreetWise Philippines”. My parents will return to Australia next week but hopefully my wife and I will be able to enjoy your restaurant again, next time we pass through. Hab' die Seiten schon in die FilExplorer Links aufgenommen. Die Seiten finde ich ganz ansprechend (sogar bei großer Auflösung, wo andere ihre Probleme haben). Was ich mir jedoch noch wünschen würde (und es würde euch vielleicht einige Antwortmails sparen): - Etwas Beschreibungstext zu den Zimmern (Ausstattung und so). - Ne kurze Anreisebeschreibung - Und ggf. macht das Fenster zum Guestbook Eintrag ne Nummer größer. Werde sicherlich, wenn ich wieder auf Mactan & Cebu bin, mit meiner Göttergattin ne Nacht oder zwei bei euch wohnen. Internett Grüße Walter
